Welcome to Thumbs Up Fore Golf

Together the Johnson family and the Brain Injury Association of Windsor/Essex County have established this golf tournament to support other families in our community. Bill was an avid golfer, but tragically was involved in a car accident and suffered a catastrophic brain injury. It was a long and hard recovery, but with support Bill was able to return home. Golf became a therapeutic part of his life. Bill always gave everyone the “thumbs up” sign. Unexpectedly, Bill passed away January 1, 2009. Bill would have celebrated his 40th birthday August 5, 2010. This tournament aims to celebrate his life, to support the community and help others through the Brain Injury Association of Windsor/Essex County.
